THE SPACES

The twelve studio homes at The Presidio are open and adaptable spaces. The design and materials are simple and straight-forward, encouraging customization for a wide range of individual living and working environments. 


Each residence includes over sixteen-hundred square feet of private indoor and outdoor space. Indoor spaces are one thousand square feet. Outdoor spaces include a 200 square foot north-facing private courtyard and a 400 square foot south-facing private garden, adjacent reserved parking. 


The Presidio is constructed entirely of foot-thick, insulated concrete block, heavily coated inside and out with old-school stucco. Eleven foot ceilings of exposed metal decking and simple white stucco walls create bright, expansive volumes. Fully equipped kitchens, generous private baths, ample storage and washer/dryers are included. 


Moving glass doors connect indoor and outdoor spaces. Floors are natural polished concrete, and unfinished wood forms custom shelving and storage. 


The Presidio is a durable, sustainable building that will require minimal future shared maintenance costs.
